Turn Based Multiplayer Matches
In Turn Based Multiplayer Matches, one participant plays Smad before passing the same grid and the same settings to another player.
A player can participate in up to 30 matches simultaneously. A player selects whichever match he is interested in playing or he can make a new match with his friends and or randomly selected players.

The Matches
Button
Would you like to make a turn based multiplayer match ?
Smad let you make turn based multiplayer matches with a total of 4 players. You can have up to 30 active matches at any time.
First you choose the set of numbers and operators you want to make a match with.
Then you select Multiplayer to start the players selection.
Now you can add seats at the match table by touching the + (Add a player) button
Here we have touched the Add a player button twice to add two more players to the match
When you add a player using the + button, the default player who will join the match will be randomly selected among all the Smad users who have asked to make a match with randomly selected players using the same game mode (set of numbers and set of operators) that you have chosen. Below we will show a match making that includes two friends of yours and a randomly selected player
Choose Invite Friends and selects the friends you would like to invite to the match then touch the Next button.
You can customize the standard message that will be sent to the match participants and then touch the Send button.
Now the match has been made with two friends of yours, a randomly selected player and yourself. The game is starting.
The Smad grid will be presented with the Numbers and Operators buttons disabled and set to the game mode of the match.
You have made the match and you will be the first player to take the turn as soon as you touch the Play button. Find out how to play in the section below.
How To Play
The Play
Button
Are you Ready to Play ?
After you have chosen the set of numbers and operators you would like to play with, you are ready to go. Touch the play button and the Smad grid will be populated with numbers. From this moment, you have 100 seconds to find as many paths as possible.
Swipe your finger across the board linking numbers together.

Here we start with number 22
Any direction is allowed as long as you connect nearby numbers. You can swipe up, down, left, right and diagonally

Here we swipe down and reach number 4

If there is an arithmetic operation that gives the third number as a result out of the first two numbers, you have earned your first Smad points.
18 can be obtained as 22 - 4. The swipe from 22 to 18 has created the operation:

22 - 4 = 18

Now you may use the result of the last operation to start the process all over again
Here we keep going from 18 to 0
and after touching 18 you have completed another operation
18 can be obtained as 18 + 0 or 18 - 0. The rule is that the selection will be considered correct if there is an arithmetic operation among the ones you have chosen to play with that yield a right result. The swipe from 0 to 18 has created the operation:

18 + 0 = 18

You have just created this arithmetic expression

22 - 4 + 0

If you stop here, by lifting your finger up, the previous expression will be shown in the game result page.

But we keep going on because we may again use the result of the previous operation to start the process all over again
Here we keep going from 18 to 1
After touching 17 you have completed another operation
17 can be obtained as 18 - 1. The swipe from 1 to 17 has created the operation:

18 - 1 = 17

You have just extended the arithmetic expression to

22 - 4 + 0 - 1

If you stop here, by lifting your finger up, the previous expression will be shown in the game result page.

But we keep going on because we may again use the result of the previous operation to start the process all over again. The longer the swipe the more points you will earn.

You earn 1 point for each number in a right selection plus a bonus depending on the lenght of the selection: for selection longer or equal to 5 elements your bonus is equal to 3 times the lenght.
Here we keep going from 17 to 1
After touching 16 you have completed another operation
16 can be obtained as 17 - 1. The swipe from 1 to 16 has created the operation:

17 - 1 = 16

You have just extended the arithmetic expression to

22 - 4 + 0 - 1 - 1

Now we stop here by lifting our finger up because there are no more operations that can be formed starting with 16 and its nearby numbers
When the game ends, the result page will be presented. Now you can find out where all the paths where hidden in the grid. In a Smad grid there will always be at least 40 paths and there might be more than 100 paths with lenghts between 3 to 15 numbers. The resulting paths will be shown with the associated arithmetic expression.
After every match participant has taken his turn, the match results will be available. In the summary you will be able to scroll through all the grid path lists and see where they were located and who selected them. The name and the framework of the players who have selected a specific path will be red coloured
